Methods to accomplish these goals include:
- In the context of unmet therapeutic needs, develop a strong evidence-based value proposition, including a compelling cost argument
- Integrate this information into clinical, regulatory, marketing, and sales plans to help realize a product’s full market potential
- Conduct time and motion studies to demonstrate the healthcare resources required to administer a particular treatment
- These results can be used to bolster arguments for new procedural codes that may more adequately reimburse healthcare systems for a new product, and in pharmacoeconomic analyses to highlight the potential cost savings of a product
- Collect information from confidential in-depth interviews and Advisory Boards with expert clinicians, academic researchers, and payers regarding the likely positioning and access for the client’s product and the variables that would be most likely to influence formulary decision making
- Develop formulary dossiers for new drugs and medical devices to support submissions to various managed care organizations and government agencies which make reimbursement decisions
- Tailor dossiers to support product launches in the U.S., specific U.S. states, and global markets
- Collaborate with the client to design research to collect additional data for products with conditional or suboptimal coverage
